- About Us -

We equip you and your staff with financial wellness services so that you can confidently focus on what’s important—serving others

Envoy Financial started over 25 years ago because we saw a problem. We noticed that churches, non-profits, Christian schools, missions organizations, camps, rescue missions, and retreat centers were all focused on serving the needs of everyone else but forgetting about their staff.

From that problem arose our passion to provide churches, faith-based organizations, and ministry-focused individuals with Christian retirement plans and Christian financial planning and stewardship services that fit their unique needs.

At Envoy, our mission is to provide Christian financial planning solutions to people like you—people who need to be funded in order to freely carry out God’s call on their lives, even after retirement.

We believe in stewarding the resources that God has entrusted to us. We believe in choosing investments that align with our beliefs.
We believe in following God’s call, even into retirement.

AND WE WANT TO HELP YOU DO THE SAME.

That’s why we empower you to choose investment options that align with your values and beliefs. As a leader in the faith-driven investment industry, we offer biblically responsible Christian retirement plans for faith-driven organizations and individuals. We actively screen our investment models for companies that make ethical, responsible, and impactful decisions while limiting exposure to biblical conflicts, such as companies that support abortion, commit human rights violations, or profit from pornography.

Building a retirement or investment fund on biblical principles has never been easier, and now you can steward your money in a more God-glorifying manner.

While working as a financial advisor, Bruce Bruinsma experienced a defining moment. He was meeting with a missionary couple to review their financial plan for retirement and was shocked and saddened when he realized that they were not prepared for retirement, despite being told otherwise. God used this experience to re-direct Bruce’s heart, and the Envoy Financial journey began.

1987

As he worked with pastors and Christian organizations, Bruce realized the importance of distinguishing a secular view of retirement from a Christian one. He began seeing retirement not as a reward for past service, but as a stepping-stone for future ministry.

1990

The desire to begin a faith-based retirement planning service started and the company, Christian Retirement Coalition was established.

1997

Christian Retirement Coalition changed its name to Envoy Financial to better reflect its mission. Envoy means “trusted messenger” and is taken from Proverbs 13:17.

2004

Envoy expanded its Christian financial planning services by providing Envoy Advisory, TPA, and Record-keeping.

2011

Envoy Financial joined forces with Harvest Investment Services, maximizing on their 60+ years of combined financial experience, and created an all-encompassing company that combines faith-driven retirement planning and investment services into one powerful financial services establishment—His Envoys Group
